Remote Learning

Parents and carers can download here our approach to online learning and what we offer to parents whose child is unable to attend school due to the coronavirus pandemic.  Remote Learning for Website

In the uncertain times that we are currently living in, it is important that we are able to get in touch with you.  Please make sure that if your mobile or email changes during school closure you contact the school office to advise us.  We are working on producing detailed timetables for remote learning so that children have access to high quality education from home which will be posted on your child’s class page.

The main source of communication between the teacher and home when remote education is taking place will be via email from your child’s class email or via text to your mobile device.  Please make sure you check your emails regularly so stay up to date with information.

Expectations in Remote Learning

The school day starts at 9am and All students are expected to attend assembly.   Please check your daily timetable, your class teacher may invite students to additional learning sessions, please remember to check class emails.

All students are expected to attend on time. Wearing a school jumper, cardigan or plain white t-shirt.

Parents & Carers must be present while the student is learning to support, encourage and supervise but are not invited to appear on camera.

Please ensure your student is seated in an appropriate safe place ready to learn and without distractions (Please turn off tv’s, video games, radios).

Please equip your child with paper, a homework book, pen or pencil. Ready to focus and learn for the day. If your child has google classroom independent work please ensure they complete and submit their work.

We love little pre-school learners but we do not expect to see them during live school lesson time on camera.

Please note zoom profiles photos are not permitted during class and the Camera must remain switched on.

Students are expected to eat food or drink in break times or after class only. Not during live teaching time.
